We recently had the absolute pleasure of staying here, and it’s safe to say: this place is a little slice of heaven. The management of the hotel are 10/10 outstanding, polite, professional and even upgraded us to a 3-Bedroom Villa. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

First Impressions

Tucked away on the peaceful shores of Bophut Beach, Karma isn’t your average resort. It’s intimate, bespoke and designed with soul. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we’d stepped into an oasis— there’s a calmness, and tranquility. It’s the kind of place that invites you to take off your shoes, slow down, and just be.

The Villa Vibes

We stayed in one of their spacious 3-bedroom Villas, which felt more like a private sanctuary than a hotel room. Surrounded by tropical gardens, it had a lovely indoor-outdoor flow, our own expansive pool, large outdoor kitchen and entertaining area. Each room had it’s own lush tropical outdoor bathroom with views to the sky. Waking up there was like pressing pause on the outside world. Just calm, sun, and the distant sound of waves.

People Who Make a Place

What really sets Karma apart is the team. Every single person we met was warm, genuine, and deeply kind. From the front desk to the kitchen staff, everyone made us feel at home.

Food Worth Writing About

The owner is actually a French restauranteur and thats how the resort began. The food, elevated Thai style cuisine and French dishes, are both at a very high standard. The breakfasts were a daily highlight with wellness in mind—fresh fruit, homemade granola, buttery croissants, and health focused smoothies. Dinner under the stars, with toes in the sand and twinkling lights overhead, felt straight out of a movie. Each dish was vibrant, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can taste the care and creativity in every bite.

That Island Balance

The pool area is beautiful and looks out to the ocean, serviced by the bar nearby. You can relax in one of the large timber cabanas. Our Villa though was so epic is was difficult to decide where to spend the time. Also, a short walk to Fishermans Village its situated in the perfect area. Karma finds the perfect balance between indulgence and wellness. Whether you want to be active or just melt into a sun lounger with a book and a coconut, there’s something for every mood.

Final Thoughts

There’s a certain energy at Karma that’s hard to put into words. It’s relaxed, luxurious without being showy, and full of heart. It’s the kind of place that lingers in your memory long after you leave. We came home feeling completely recharged.
